Lend Me a Tenor
by Ken Ludwig
Directed by Annette Coleman
This is a clever and wildly entertaining comedy in which confusion, mistaken identity, innuendo and slapstick are key elements. The Cleveland Grand Opera is celebrating its biggest night in history -- a gala fundraiser set to raise $50,000 for the opera company. World famous tenor Tito Merelli is scheduled to sing the lead in Otello, but chaos sets in when a "Dear John" letter is mistaken for a suicide note and it seems unlikely that Tito will appear on stage. But Henry Saunders, the opera company's general manager, is determined that the "show must go on" and the struggle to see that it does is nothing short of hilarious.

The Last Night of Ballyhoo
by Alfred Uhry
Directed by Mary Adair Leslie
Atlanta, Georgia, December 1939. Gone with the Wind
is having its world premiere in the city and Hitler is invading Poland. But Atlanta's elite Jewish community seems much more concerned about who is attending Ballyhoo
, the social event of the season -- a coming-out event for young Jewish women. It seems a last chance for dreamy, unpopular Lala Freitag to find a suitable husband. The arrival of a young man from New York complicates matters and the family is torn with dissention but eventually reunited, with plenty of comedy, romance, and revelations along the way.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim
Directed by Ronnie Spilton
In ancient Rome, a respectable young man falls in love with a beautiful young virgin who lives in the house of ill repute next door. The slave, Psuedolus (the role orginated by Zero Mostel), is promised his freedom if he can acquire the virgin for his lovesick master. Thus ensues the riotous romp promised by the opening number, “Comedy Tonight” “Old situations, new complications; this time it all turns out all right. Tragedy tomorrow. Comedy tonight!”
